The nutritional needs of the elderly


 In old age, men and women have lower nutritional needs than others.  Older people should eat and drink the right amount of vegetables, fruits and milk according to their age.  Digestion often worsens in old age.  Therefore, digestible foods should be used instead of poultry foods.  Older women and men should consume mostly soft foods such as milk, custard, eggs, fish, qeema, fruits and rice. However, older people must also eat meat.  In addition, milk should be drunk every day.  It meets the requirements of protein and calcium
